5GMED covers Connected and Automated Mobility aiming to bring sustainable 5G deployment model for future mobility in the Mediterranean Cross-Border Corridor (Figueres-Perpignan). These services will rely on a broad range of technologies beyond 5G, including onboard sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI), providing advanced connectivity services in a scalable and replicable manner across transport paths.
5GMED will demonstrate advanced Cooperative Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and Future Railway Mobile Communications System services (FRMCS), through four different Use Cases:
- Remote Driving
- Road infrastructure digitalisation for intelligent management of the connected and automated vehicles mobility
- FRMCS applications and business service continuity
- Follow-ME Infotainment
Our team works on the design, development and validation of MANO extension for hybrid edge/cloud deployments and slicing. We work together with the New Media, Edge & Technology Unit to develop services such as infotainment in-car with immersive streaming. Atos team will lead the task on Follow-ME infotainment application on rail environment.
